5 Tips To Apply For A Job When You Don't Have Any Relevant Experience.

We've all been there - spent countless hours scouring the Internet for a job, sending out CV/Resumes out to countless job advertisements  only to not hear back from those companies you've applied for - which obviously left you wondering what you were doing wrong because you've got the right skills and qualifications for the job, right?!

Well... here's the thing: On top of having stiff competition from the get-go, I'm talking fifty to hundreds of applicants for every one job advertised, the real reason why you didn't get the job is not because of said stiff competition or even lack of relevant skills, but rather, the real reason why you're still jobless simply boils down to sending out a very poor CV/Resume!

I'm talking: a generic, nonspecific to the job, old CV/Resume that you've been using to apply for the last 50 jobs you've applied to!

Plus, to make it worse, that CV/Resume is also guilty of the following faults.

HERE'S THE REASON WHY YOU STILL DON'T HAVE A JOB, PLUS TIPS TO FIX THAT!

CV/RESUME MISTAKE NUMBER 1:
Your fist mistake entails sending out a very long CV/Resume. And by long I mean anything beyond the 2-page threshold, which, let's face it, is no longer a CV but  an essay, Yikes!
The reason why this is a CV mistake is that 1) hiring Managers don't have much time to spent on a 3 page long CV, and 2) you clearly weren't aware that  the purpose of a CV/Resume is to entice and spark interest in you as a candidate to the point that the employer feels obligated to call you in for an interview because he/she is simply that intrigued by you!

CV/RESUME MISTAKE NUMBER 2:
Failing to tailor your CV/ RESUME to the job you're applying for either because of sheer laziness or for not realizing you were simply supposed to  if you are to increase your odds of nabbing that job!

CV/RESUME MISTAKE NUMBER 3:
Not including the same "buzz-words" in the wording of your CV/ RESUME that the job requirements listed, which, ended up resulting in you not going through the resume tracking machine and straight  to the Hiring Manager because you were deemed unsuitable by a machine!

CV/RESUME MISTAKE NUMBER 4:
Listing irrelevant skills/experiences on your CV/ RESUME as opposed to what the job actually requires.

CV/RESUME MISTAKE NUMBER 5:
And lastly, committing some of the most common CV mistakes: lying about your skills or experiences.
Trust me, that is a rooky mistake 'cause employers always know when a candidate is lying.

So tell me, have you been committing some of these CV/Resume mistakes???
